Watkins Glen Residents Weigh In on Proposed Local Law Changes

SHARE NOW

Residents in the Village of Watkins Glen had an opportunity this week to share their thoughts on several proposed updates to local laws.

The Village Board of Trustees held a public hearing Tuesday night at Village Hall on North Franklin Street to gather feedback on a range of proposed changes. The updates cover code enforcement, administrative warrants, sewer use, vendors and solicitors, fireworks displays, and regulations for fire pits.

If approved, each proposal would replace the village’s current laws in those areas.

Village officials say public input will continue to be accepted through April 1. Residents can review the proposed changes at the Village Clerk’s Office during regular business hours or online through the village’s website.

Comments can be submitted by email to [email protected] or mailed to the Village Clerk at 303 North Franklin Street, Watkins Glen, 14891.
