State Police have released the name of the person killed in a one-car rollover accident that happened earlier this week in Steuben County.
State Police say Lukas Ellsessor was driving north on State Route 371 in Cohocton just before 5 Wednesday afternoon when he passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone. The 31-year-old Ellsessor lost control of his 2017 Dodge Caravan, drove off the road, and rolled it over. The passenger, 26-year-old Adrian Gregory-Kielbasa, of Angelica, New York, was ejected from the Caravan and pronounced dead at the scene.
Ellsessor, who is also from Angelica, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
