A Tompkins County man lost his life after being involved in a two-car crash.
63-year-old Daniel Heath, of Dryden, was driving south on Sheldon Road in Dryden when police say he did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection of West Dryden Road and collided with another car. Heath was taken by LifeNet to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where he later died.
The driver of the second car was taken by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center with unspecified injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Freeville Fire Department, Dryden Fire Department, Dryden Ambulance, Lansing Fire Department, and the West Milford NJ Police Department.
