One local county’s district attorney has announced he is running for re-election.
Matthew Van Houten is seeking his third term as Tompkins County District Attorney after first being elected in 2017. A graduate of Dryden High School, Van Houten attended West Point Academy and then Albany Law School. With more than 20 years of experience in law, Van Houten got his law license in 1996.
