If you’re a resident of the Penn Yan School District and want a chance to serve on the Board of Education, three seats will be up for election come May.
According to the District Clerk’s office, there are two 3-year terms available and one 4-year term. The candidate who receives the highest number of votes in May will fill the four-year term. If you are interested in running, you can stop by the Penn Yan District Office on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. to pick up your petition forms.
The petitions must be returned to the District no later than April 24th.
