    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

Three Running for 2 Available Trustee Seats in Watkins Glen

In next week’s local elections in the village of Watkins Glen, residents will choose from three candidates to fill two seats for four-year terms on the village board.

Robert Carson is running for re-election on the Republican and Concerned Citizen Choice party lines. Joining him on the ballot are Stephen Klemann and Ian Ault, who are running on Democrat and Community First party lines. Current trustee Nan Woodworth is not running for re-election.

Voting in Watkins Glen will take place March 19th at the Community Center.
