A fight that took place at a birthday party in Steuben County two days after Thanksgiving has resulted in three people being charged with felony gang assault.
State Police say at around 10 o’clock on the morning of November 26th, a fight broke out alongside State Route 414 in the town of Hornby between partygoers who had been drinking and using drugs. An investigation determined that 27-year-old Angela Travis, of Corning, initially struck 33-year-old Nicole Zazynski, of Elmira, resulting in minor injuries. It’s then alleged Zazynski, 24-year-old Dausen Seymour, of Corning, and 42-year-old Wesley Jones, the Second, of Horseheads, retaliated against Travis and physically assaulted her, resulting in serious injuries. Troopers say Travis had to be hospitalized for those injuries.
Zazynski, Jones, and Seymour were arraigned on the felony gang assault charges in Steuben County CAP Court, and Travis, who was charged with assault, was released on an appearance ticket.
