A three-alarm barn fire in the town of Jerusalem Tuesday brought firefighters from Yates, Steuben, and Ontario counties to the scene.
When law enforcement arrived at 2792 Keech Road just before noon they reported heavy smoke pouring out of the three-story structure. Thankfully, all of the animals were rescued and the only person inside the barn exited safely. The fire was knocked down in an hour.
The cause remains under investigation.
