Taughannock Falls Celebrates 100th Anniversary of State Park System

In honor of the 100^th anniversary of the formation of the New York State Park System, and in partnership with New York State Parks, the Tompkins Chamber, and Visit Ithaca, Taughannock  Falls will be illuminated at night.

You’ll be able to see it from the overlook from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

There also will be two guided hikes to the base of the falls each night at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Those hikes will be limited to 100 people per group.
