Steuben County Urges Residents to Sign Up for New Alert System

SHARE NOW

The Steuben County Office of Emergency Services is encouraging residents to sign up for a new emergency alert system recently launched by the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) and Steuben County. The program, called “Triple Three Triple One” (333111), delivers free, real-time weather and emergency alerts directly to your mobile phone.

To enroll, simply text the name of your county (e.g., Steuben) to 333111. Once enrolled, you’ll automatically begin receiving alerts specific to that area.

According to Steuben County, this system is particularly valuable for staying connected to alerts in multiple areas—perfect for those with family, friends, or interests in other counties.

This is part of the NYAlert Platform that Steuben County launched back in February. To learn more about this initiative and other emergency notification tools, click here
