The Steuben County Emergency Services is mourning the loss of Deputy Director of 911 Nick Snyder.
Snyder had been with the county’s 911 center since 2005. He began his career as a dispatcher and rose through the ranks, serving as a dispatch supervisor, operations manager, and ultimately Deputy Director of 911.
In a statement, the department expressed its deep sadness over his passing and extended prayers to his immediate family, as well as his extended family at the Hatch Hose Company of Atlanta, NY. County officials say Snyder’s years of service and dedication to emergency communications will not be forgotten.
