The Steuben County Board of Elections is encouraging those looking to vote in the county’s Republican Party primary election to take advantage of early voting.
The board is making this announcement due to an ongoing weather advisory that could impact weather conditions on election day on Tuesday.
The board stated that early in-person is available at the Steuben County Annex in Bath from 9:00a-5:00p now through Sunday. While it’s encouraging early voting due to expected heat, the board added that the primary will still be held as scheduled on Tuesday, with poll sites open across the county from 6:00a-9:00p in all districts holding a primary.
