As an homage to the legendary Watkins Glen Summer Jam that took place on the same day 51 years ago, Steeln’ Peaches: an Allman Brothers Revue will perform during the Finger Lakes Wine Festival Presented by Cayuga Health at Watkins Glen International on July 28th.

Steeln’ Peaches plays classic hits by the Allman Brothers Band, who was one of the musical acts that performed for fans at Summer Jam in 1973. Their Saturday concert will be reminiscent of the famous music festival.

“Steeln’ Peaches is a fantastic addition to the Finger Lakes Wine Festival, and so fitting that their concert falls on such an iconic date,” said Watkins Glen International President Dawn Burlew. “The Watkins Glen Summer Jam is a piece of this town that will forever go down in history and to emanate that history during the Wine Festival, an event that brings so many families, friends and businesses of our community together, is something really special.”

The Steeln’ Peaches Saturday concert is just a piece of all the excitement that is the Finger Lakes Wine Festival. Those in attendance can sip and snack on some of the best food and beverage from a multitude of local food vendors, wineries, distilleries and cideries all while enjoying the summer views of Seneca Lake at the historic Watkins Glen International.

The Finger Lakes Wine Festival Presented by Cayuga Health will begin on Thursday, July 26 and conclude with the concert on the evening of Saturday, July 28. The Allman Brothers Band revue will take the stage from 6 – 9 p.m., in the Launch of the Lakes area with a $20 admission fee.
