A person riding a motorized skateboard in Tompkins County Friday night was struck and killed by a car.
The unidentified male was north on Warren Road in Lansing when he was hit from behind by a northbound car at around 7 o’clock. The driver of the car called 9-1-1 and remained on the scene. First responders performed life-saving actions on the victim, who eventually was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
