Residents of one Yates County village who want their sidewalks repaired or replaced next summer can now apply through the village’s annual sidewalk improvement program.
Applications for the 2026 season are available on the village of Penn Yan’s website or in person at the Village Office at 111 Elm Street. Completed forms must be submitted by March 13th.
If approved, homeowners will pay $6 per square foot for sidewalk work, with the village covering the remaining costs. Commercial properties will pay $10 per square foot for full sidewalk replacements, excluding sidewalks over privately owned basements. Payments are due by April 24.
