An early morning shooting in the city of Ithaca is under investigation.
Police responded to 130 Cherry Street at around midnight after witnesses reported hearing gunshots within the Ithaca Arthaus apartment complex. Officers found an apartment door that had been damaged from gunfire. They also found evidence that shots were fired into the apartment. Police say the apartment was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.
