The Schuyler County Legislature has named Jason Gilliland as the new Director of Veterans Services. His appointment was approved at this week’s legislature meeting.
He’ll officially start on February 17 and will earn $70,000 a year.
The Odessa File reports Gilliland is a veteran himself, with 22 years in the Army and Air Force, and also has 10 years of experience working at SUNY colleges. He lives in Montour Falls.
The Director of Veterans Services role as been vacant since August 8th.
