A Trumansburg man pleaded guilty to felony charges of arson and burglary in Schuyler County Court.
During his plea, Zane Seubert admitted he burglarized multiple campers that were stored at a facility in Hector in March of 2023. The 46-year-old then admitted to entering a building located in front of the Hector Union Cemetery. While in the building, Seubert intentionally set some hay on fire in an attempt to light a cigarette. Seubert then left the building while the hay was still on fire and that recklessly caused significant to the building.
Seubert is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11th in Schuyler County Court.
