Incumbent Bob Carson was re-elected to a four-year term on the Watkins Glen village board Tuesday. Stephen Klemann was chosen for the other trustee seat.
In neighboring Montour Falls, newcomer Jody Saunders and incumbent James Nolan were elected to four-year terms on the village board.
Meanwhile, in Burdett, Linda Arcangeli defeated Jerakah Heady to serve the final year of former mayor Dale Walter’s term. Incumbent trustees Martha Evans and Laurence Jaynes turned back two challengers and were re-elected to two-year terms.
