More ballot problems for former President Donald Trump. An Illinois Judge ruled on Wednesday that President Trump can’t be on the March 19th primary ballot in that state for his alleged role in the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Congressman Nick Langworthy, who represents Schuyler and Steuben counties in the House of Representatives, released this statement in response to the judge’s ruling:
“The court decision to remove President Trump from the ballot in Illinois is another blatant example of activist judges interfering in our presidential election and stealing the choice from the American people. They will do anything to stop President Trump from going back to Washington to reverse their radical and woke policies. The American people see right through this abuse of power.”
Illinois joins Colorado and Maine as states where judges had also ruled to keep Mr. Trump off the primary ballot. The Supreme Court will hear arguments in the case next month.
