Two public hearings are scheduled for tonight in Room 202 of the Penn Yan Village Hall.
The first deals with a resolution that would authorize the village to submit a grant application to the New York State Office of Community Renewal for Block Grant funding to help with the renovation of the Penn Yan Diner. The Elm Street eatery has been closed since a late night fire last May ravaged it.
The second public hearing is on the annexation into the village of 72 acres of land on Old Route 14A currently located within the town of Milo. The land, owned by the Finger Lakes Economic Development Center, is being considered for mixed affordable housing.
Tonight’s public hearings begin at 6.
