A heads-up to motorists in Yates County. The Highway Department has closed a portion of Himrod Road (County Route 1) in the Town of Milo through November 14th.
The road will be closed at the railroad crossing in Himrod, east of the overpass near Harrison Road between house #3577 and house #3580.
The county wants motorists to be advised that house #3577 can be reached from the north and house #3580 can be reached from the south.
There will be no thru traffic on the closed portion of the road. Detours will be posted using Norris and Hatmaker roads.
