A vehicle that was stolen in the village of Penn Yan over the weekend has been recovered.
The 2021 Ford EcoSport was parked roadside on Hamilton Street when it was taken at around 2 Sunday morning. Police say the vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside when it was stolen. A vigilant resident spotted the vehicle later in the day and contacted police.
It was not disclosed where the car was found or if anyone was taken into custody.
