Police in Ithaca are looking for a man who allegedly pushed another man through a window late Wednesday night.
The victim suffered a laceration with uncontrolled bleeding and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect, who took off from where the incident occurred in the 100 block of East State Street, is described as a white man in his 40s who was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and jeans. He took off in an unknown direction.
Police say it appears the victim and assailant knew each other and this was not a random attack.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing, and no further information is being released at this time.
