Almost five years after being hired to do a remodeling job in Schuyler County, a contractor has been arrested on a felony grand larceny charge.
According to State Police, on October 15th, 2019, the victim hired Apgar Construction LLC to remodel their home in the town of Dix. An investigation alleges the contractor, 31-year-old David Apgar, of Breesport, never showed up to complete the work despite taking a deposit of more than $13,000.
Following his arrest, Apgar was taken to Schuyler County Jail for arraignment.
