Penn Yan to Break Ground on Lake Street Park Revitalization Project

SHARE NOW

The Village of Penn Yan is set to break ground on major improvements to Lake Street Park as part of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative. A ceremony marking the start of the project will take place on Monday at 1 p.m. at the park.

The revitalization project aims to transform the centrally located green space into a more inviting and accessible destination for both residents and visitors. Planned upgrades include a brand-new playground, a dock, a waterfront landing area, and an ADA-accessible walking path.

Officials from the Village of Penn Yan and project engineers are expected to deliver remarks at the event. Community members are encouraged to attend, celebrate the project’s launch, and view the proposed plans for the site.
