The Village of Penn Yan Municipal Utilities is now offering customers the option to have their monthly utility bills automatically withdrawn from their bank accounts—at no extra cost.
The village is also providing the option to receive bills electronically via email.
Residents interested in signing up for direct withdrawal and/or e-billing must complete the enrollment process by October 1, 2025. Applications can be submitted by visiting the Municipal Office or emailing [email protected].
The direct withdrawal program will begin with bills issued in October. Once enrolled, bills will note “Direct Debit Plan – Do Not Pay!” and the payment will be automatically withdrawn on the bill’s due date—or the next business day if it falls on a weekend or holiday.
