A Penn Yan man was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital Sunday after his car went off the road and struck a shed before coming to rest on a stone pile.
An investigation determined 37-year-old Shawn Madigan was traveling south on Pre-Emption Road near Earl’s Hill Road at around 4 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the east side of the road.
It was not known the extent of injuries Madigan suffered as Medics on scene ordered he be airlifted to Strong for further evaluation.
No charges are pending at this time.
