City Hill Construction started work on the Main Street tree grate and tree installation project in the village of Penn Yan on Monday.
According to the village, there will be intermittent parking closures but they anticipate keeping sidewalks open and disturbance to be minimal. They ask that you park at municipal parking lots or other street parking when supporting Main Street businesses.
The project is funded by the village’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
