They are always there to help us when we need them and now one local ambulance corp is asking for our help in helping those down south impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The Penn Yan Volunteer Ambulance Corps is collecting items at their base at the corner of Main Street and North Avenue that will be delivered to residents of the Carolinas next week. You can drop off donated items until 8 o’clock Friday morning.
Items they seek for donations include:
Kleenex
Extension Cords for Generators
Water
Toilet paper
Gas Cans
Non-Perishable Food/Canned Goods
Can Openers
Paper Plates, Plastic Cups, and Plastic Silverware
Generators
Chainsaws/ Saw Oil
Diapers and Baby Wipes
Soap and Shampoo
Pet Food
Flashlights and Batteries
SECONDARY NEEDS:
