Cornell Cooperative Extension of Yates County is inviting county residents to take part in two open houses this regarding the recently updated Farmland Protection Plan. The main goal of the plan is to preserve prime farm land within the county.
Sessions are planned for Tuesday at Our Town Rocks at 12 Main Street, Dundee and on Thursday at the Yates County Auditorium at 417 Liberty Street, Penn Yan. Both open houses will take place from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m.
