Saturday will mark the return of Odessa Community Day.
Back for its second year, organizers say this free, family-friendly celebration promises an afternoon full of community spirit, entertainment, and local flair. It will run from 12 PM to 5 PM on Church Street in Odessa.
According to Watkins Glen Promotions, attendees can enjoy:
- Live Music from fan-favorite band Still Kickin’, bringing energy and great tunes to the heart of the village, playing from 1-5pm.
- Free Family Activities such as face painting, crafting, and more, generously sponsored by the Dutton S. Peterson Memorial Library, perfect for kids of all ages.
- Doug the Magician performs magic all day from 12-5pm.
- Amanda Perl will be creating balloon masterpieces from 12-5pm.
- A unique Touch-a-Truck Experience, where families can explore fire trucks, service vehicles, and more while meeting the hardworking community members who operate them.
- An array of local food and craft vendors, offering everything from delicious bites to handmade treasures.
“This event is about celebrating the Odessa community and giving families a chance to enjoy summer together in a fun, safe, and vibrant environment,” says Erick Thorpe, Co-Chair of the festival. “We’re so grateful to all of our sponsors and community for making it all possible.”
