Schuyler and Steuben County’s new representative in Congress has started his term in office and is looking forward to the next two years. Nick Langworthy told our sister website in Dunkirk, Chautauqua Today, that he is angling for a seat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
When it comes to energy, Langworthy believes the federal government has been moving in the wrong direction. He cited last month’s blizzard in Western New York as one example.
At the age of 38, Langworthy was unanimously elected as Chairman of the New York Republican State Committee in 2019, making him the youngest person to lead the Party in its history.
