A Corning man has been indicted on more than 250 charges in connection with what the District Attorney labeled as the first revenge porn case in Steuben County.
Corey Warner is accused of going against the victim by posting and distributing intimate images of them, with the victim’s intentions being that those photos would remain private. In a news release announcing the indictment, District Attorney Brooks Baker said the charges set forth “allegations of cruelty that are tasteless and vindictive.”
Warner faces 263 total counts for crimes that allegedly occurred between February 14th and March 14th. A majority of the charges against him are misdemeanors and include multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal contempt, public display of offensive sexual conduct and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image. Warner also is charged with felony aggravated family offense.
The 40-year-old will be arraigned in Steuben County Court at a later date.
