A local man could get up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing five grams or more of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, State Police executed a search warrant at the home of 25-year-old Gerald Barclay, of Bath, last August, and seized drug packaging materials, digital scales, and $1,866 in cash. Outside of the residence near a stack of tires next to the garage, investigators found almost 195 grams of pure meth.
Barclay will be sentenced to five to 40 years in prison in late July.
