Keuka College to Host Star Faculty Panel

SHARE NOW

A trio of accomplished Keuka College professors will share their instructional strategies and philosophies this week during this semester’s Star Faculty Panel.

Sponsored by the College’s Professional Standards Committee, the panel is an opportunity for the College community to learn a little more about select instructors, including their teaching methods and their experiences in and out of the classroom. Audience members will also have the opportunity to submit questions.

Taking part in the Wednesday panel will be:

  • Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy Dr. Cassie Hey
  • Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design Carrie Kehoe
  • Division Chair and Professor of Social Work Dr. Jason McKinney

The panelists were selected after being recognized by their peers for excellence in experiential learning and academic achievement.

“This trio of Professional Standards Committee award-winners are amongst our best faculty,” said Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Brad Fuster, who will moderate the event. “They each are wonderfully accomplished in their respective disciplines and lead rich and interesting personal lives. The opportunity to ask them about their passions and journeys is always a humbling and awe-inspiring endeavor – not to mention one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”

The Star Faculty Panel will take place Wednesday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Hawkins Lounge (inside the Dahlstrom Student Center). The public is invited to attend.
