A Dundee man who caused more than $30,000 in damage to a home he was renting has been sentenced to jail.
According to Yates County District Attorney Todd Casella, 31-year-old Corey Steger was sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Jason Cook to six months in jail and five years probation. Judge Cook also ordered Steger to pay restitution to the owner of the house.
Steger had pleaded guilty to a felony charge of criminal mischief.
