The Jack Lisi Youth Award, Inc. (JLYA) is calling for nominations for its Annual “Jack Lisi Youth Award,” a Recognition – Incentive for Young Adults. The award is presented to deserving young adults, ranging from the ages 16 to 21 years old, living in Steuben County. JLYA seeks to recognize youth who are often overlooked, have overcome obstacles, and/or exhibit a desire to succeed; this award is a way to help them continue their path.

“We are excited to continue to honor our friend and former Steuben County Sheriff, Jack Lisi, by recognizing the often overlooked youth in our community in an effort to assist them with their future successes,” commented Krystle Blencowe, Program Manager of JLYA.

Nominations will be accepted until March 17th. JLYA encourages those who know and wish to nominate a young adult that fits its criteria to submit a nomination. Applications can be found on www.lisiyouthaward.org and submitted via email or mail. Multiple nominations of more than one young adult are encouraged by a nominator.

Winners of the JLYA Award will be announced after all nominations are received by the deadline. Winners of the award will be recognized at the JLYA Ceremony on Friday, May 5 at Bath Central School District’s Auditorium at 25 Ellas Ave, Bath, NY 14810 starting at 6:00 pm.
