One person is facing charges in Ithaca after allegedly robbing the Walgreens store on Meadow Street.
The robbery happened at around 10:20 Thursday morning and moments later, officers took the suspect into custody without incident. While at police headquarters, the unidentified suspect experienced a medical emergency and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
The person remains hospitalized and Ithaca Police say charges are expected to be filed once their condition improves.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
