    From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Ithaca Police Search for Suspect in Tuesday Stabbing

A man is in stable condition after being stabbed this morning in the city of Ithaca.

Police responded to 118 East Green Street just before 6 o’clock and found the victim had been stabbed in the chest with bleeding that had not yet been controlled. While officers were providing him with first aid, the victim said the stabbing occurred on the 8th floor of the Asteri Building. The suspect is unknown at this time and had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

The victim was taken to a nearby trauma center and at last word was listed in stable condition.
