INHS Names Acting Executive Director

The Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services Board of Directors has announced that Patricia Paolangeli will serve as Acting Executive Director of the regional nonprofit organization effective immediately. Paolangeli, who began working at INHS in 1997, will assume the lead role while continuing her current role as Finance Director until a permanent replacement is found.

The transition of an executive director comes with the announcement of current Executive Director Johanna Anderson stepping down to assume the role of President of the CNY Market at Tompkins Community Bank. Her last day at INHS is Friday, June 30.

Founded in 1976 as a partnership between residents, funders, and local government, INHS is a nonprofit community development corporation affiliated with NeighborWorks® America. The INHS mission is to help people of modest incomes obtain affordable housing on a long-term basis. INHS is committed to creating energy-efficient housing and sustainable communities that benefit residents of all income levels and occupations.

Its service area includes Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Schuyler, Seneca, Tioga, and Tompkins counties.
