House Fire in Montour Falls Under Investigation

Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire at a home in Montour Falls Sunday morning.

Firefighters were called to Owego Street just after 11 o’clock and found heavy fire in the back of the residence. Quick action by responding units limited damage. No one was home when the fire started and no injuries were reported.

Montour Falls, Watkins Glen, Odessa, and Beaver Dams fire departments all responded to the scene.
