The Dundee-Bradford basketball programs are helping give back to the communities that support them with a benefit that will be held at Thursday night home games. Dundee School Athletic Director Scott Shepardson tells us more about Thursday’s Hoops for Christmas.
Dundee Junior Hannah Herrick says fans will be able to purchase tickets for a variety of raffle baskets that will be given away on Thursday with all proceeds going to the Yates Christmas Program and Bradford Community Fund.
Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the game that will be donated to the Dundee Food Pantry. Kids under the age of eight who attend Thursday night’s game will also receive a gift from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The girls’ game against Bloomfield starts at 5:30 and the boys’ game will follow at 7.
If you can’t make it in person on Thursday night, WFLR will broadcast both games.
