Four Watkins Glen students will have their artwork displayed in the Congressional District Office of Nick Langworthy for the next year.
Junior Jack Hayden’s artwork titled “Sunlit Valley” and seniors Abigayl White and Naja Rodoja’s artwork titled “Lady Justice” and Lady Liberty, respectively, were all finalists in this year’s artwork competition that was open to all high school students in Langworthy’s district. Another Watkins Glen junior, Wendy Coleman, was the first runner up for her piece titled “Stronger With You.”
The overall winner was a 10th-grade student from Clymer whose winning art will be displayed in the Capitol Cannon Tunnel in Washington, D.C., for one year.
