Former Yates County Legislator Cutler Passes Away

Former Yates County Legislator Dr. Timothy Cutler has passed away. The family announced Dr. Cutler passed away on Tuesday surrounded by his loved ones after a lengthy battle with heart disease.

Dr. Cutler announced back in November he was resigning from his District One Legislative Seat where he had represented the towns of Italy, Middlesex, and Jerusalem since 2017. Cutler worked as a manager and director at Eastman Kodak, ITT Corp, and Exelis, Incorporated before retiring. During retirement, Dr. Cutler worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Keuka College. The former Chair of the Town of Jerusalem Planning Board, Dr. Cutler also served on the Board of Directors of the Keuka Lake Association and was a member of the Penn Yan Lions Club.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 at the Bartolomeo and Perotto Funeral Home in Rochester.

Dr. Timothy Cutler was 73 years old.
