With the new school year starting on Wednesday, one local school district will soon have a new superintendent.
Chris Wood, former Odessa-Montour school superintendent, was appointed as the new Dundee Schools superintendent by the School Board at an emergency meeting last Friday. His first day in Dundee won’t be until September 28th as he awaits the Bradford School where he currently works to select his replacement as principal. Wood’s contract with Dundee is for three years.

Wood began his teaching career at Odessa-Montour in 2005 and was the principal of the junior-senior high school for three years prior to being named Superintendent in 2015. He replaces James Frame, who served as interim Superintendent over the summer and is also a former Superintendent at Odessa-Montour.
