Former Dundee Superintendent To Take Over Bath Schools in July

A familiar name has been chosen as the new superintendent of the Bath Central School District.

Kelly Houck, former superintendent of the Dundee School District, will take over in Bath on July 1st. Houck left Dundee in 2021 after seven years for her current role as GST BOCES Superintendent. Prior to her time in Dundee, Houck was superintendent in the Canaseraga School District and held a number of administrative and educational positions at Bradford school.

Houck will take over following Joe Rumsey’s retirement. The former Prattsburgh superintendent announced back in the fall he would end his tenure at Bath in June.
