If you live in Yates County you are invited to an open house later this month being held in Penn Yan by FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The August 16th event will introduce residents to their updated flood maps. There is no formal presentation planned and attendees will have a chance to hear what updated flood maps mean for the community. You’ll also be able to get answers to questions about the maps, the mapping process, and flood insurance.
The Open House on August 16th will take place from 3:30 until 7:30 in the Auditorium of the County Office Building in Penn Yan.
