    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

Driver Airlifted After Saturday Morning Accident in Yates County

Two people were injured in a one-car rollover accident Saturday morning in Yates County.

The Sheriff’s Department reports Ross Liddiard of Middlesex was driving west on Italy Hill Road in the town of Jerusalem when his vehicle hit a patch of black ice, went off the road, and into a ditch where it rolled over. Liddiard and his passenger, Iris Morse, of Penn Yan, were cut out of the car by Branchport firefighters.

Liddiard was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight and Morse was taken to Thompson Hospital by Penn Yan Ambulance for their non-life-threatening injuries.
