The man who admitted back in January to intentionally setting a barn on fire at Tioga Downs Casino that killed 30 racehorses has been sentenced to 1-3 years in state prison in Schuyler County Court for a separate conviction.
Back in May, Boyd Fenton pleaded guilty in Schuyler County Court to a felony charge of forgery. The 33-year-old admitted forging an inspection sticker and displaying it in his car to deceive police.
In April, Fenton was sentenced to seven to 15 years in prison for the November fire that killed 30 racehorses and two cats back. A trainer was also injured in the blaze while trying to rescue the horses.
